In-person workshops
These workshops are presented by Welcome Haven in partnership with other community organizations. They offer families with refugee claimant status the chance to learn, socialize, chat, and enjoy themselves!
All of these workshops are family-friendly. You do not need to register in advance. Please join us at one of our workshops to exchange and learn!
Online info sessions: The Asylum Claim
These info sessions are presented online, on ZOOM. You must register with the button below to receive the link.
A specialized social worker will present the steps of a refugee claim. You will have the opportunity to ask questions and hear from someone who has successfully gone through the process. Please join us to exchange and learn!

The Welcome Guide is an online resource centre for refugees and refugee claimants arriving in Montreal. Here you can find information about school registration, french classes, immigration questions, and much more.
